What is GASB 34?

As it relates to water tanks, GASB 34 is an accounting method designed to help inform the general public as to how well the owner maintains his tank assets using preventative maintenance versus replacement.

Who do we work for?

We work directly for the engineer.  If you are the engineer of record for the tank owner, we offer the support services listed below.  Our support allows you to offer a program that will give your tank owner GASB 34 qualification.  If you are a tank owner, we would recommend an engineer for you.  We currently work with some of the most reputable engineers in New York and New England.

Our Services

Our CPA specializing in GASB 34 will sit with you to develop a plan for presenting to Board members.

We will provide an initial evaluation of the tank and recommended repairs to qualify for our preventative maintenance program.

Budgeting for repair and a yearly maintenance fee will then be negotiated with us.  We work year to year.  You can choose not to renew with us every year.

We will provide for you complete record keeping in accordance with AWWA standards.

We are fully qualified under AWWA D100 and 102.  Any major repair work will be designed and stamped by our storage tank engineer working under D100 standards.
